If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
here are some pics of my new ps2 screen. yes it was made for ps2 so i figured it would display graphics a little better. I hooked it up by splicing into the lines coming of the normal ps2 plug and hooked up a composite plug and it worked . it did look a little crummy. i think it would look better if it was to be taking rgb signal.

The shots of the board in the two pictures below gets super hot when ever the board gets turned on. i am not sure hwy this is. it might have been something i did.
i dont think its the inverter board thats putting out the heat. i think its the audio controller, contrast, brightness board. the one with all those caps on it
. it did look a little crummy. i think it would look better if it was to be taking rgb signal.
