NEEDED- Help Wiring Sony PSone Screen for Composite Video...

Ok. I have a Sony Brand PSone screen that I purchased for the hand made PsoneP in Ben's book.

I was almost done finishing the project and sort of gave up, not that I didnt know how to finish the project, but that I couldnt afford it anymore, this being i was 13 at the time, (three years ago about)...

So I set the project away in my dust proof bin in my closet, and got sort of side tracked for the last few years

I am just turning 16, starting to drive. I own a 71 VW beetle that me and my father are restoring (but with new era features.. good stereo, turbocharged, fuel injected etc.)

I was looking at Car dvd players on the web for my beetle, and I was thinking about buying some type of monitor to mount below my stereo...

Then it hit me, I have that lil PSone screen still in my closet, wires snipped, LED's in and everything, just about the stage in the book right before installing it into the plastic case.

So I've taken the time to try Re-read my copy of Ben's book, trying to figure out which of these two wires i need to use to wire it to a Female Composite (rca) Connector....

And Im stumped.. i found the "Video In" but in all my experience with electronics, I've figured that there never is just ONE wire to about anything....

I am looking for help with just simply wiring the screen straight from the white ports to an RCA style yellow composite video cable

DIAGRAMS NEEDED!!

The second diagrams show you the video and two audio connections and the ground above it. On the other ends of these video and R and L audio wires you should connect RCA jacks. On the second lead of the RCA jack you should connect a ground wire.

thanks, ill look at that

im not worried about the audio, all of that will be wired into my stereo via AUX input.

so on the rca yellow cable would the two wires be the video in and ground? would it be the same ground that is going to be connected to my power unit?

YAY. alrigt thank you all i got it to work, now all i need to do is make a case for it and a swivel mount, and WHALLA i got a flashy new dvd player screen for my dash.... wooo
