Psone screen lights up but there is no picture

The psone screen lights up but there is no picture can someone please tell me a way to fix this.

That's ridiculously vague.

Details, please. How is it hooked up and what to? Are you using a single PSU or two separate ones, one for your console and one for the screen? Are the two units soldered together manually, or is this hooked onto a PSOne, like normal? If you want your questions answered, you've got to provide adequate information for people to do so.

If it lights up, that most likely means no signal is getting to the LCD. Try plugging in the ribbon cable on the back all th way, and checking your connections to your console. Also, if you soldered video from your console to the screen, make sure you connected the grounds as well.

I am getting the same problem with my genesisp I tried both rgb and composite. I do get a green bar when I adjust the volume. And when I use composite it is blank but when I use rgb i get verticle squiggle lines. I need to recheck my soldering but any help would be very helpful.

I don't get any green bars showing up and I also don't get any sound. Will upload pictures soon, also the ground are connected.

It keeps the LCD from falling out. I cracked the corner (2mm squared) of one of mine, and the LCD was toast.

Anyways it looks like you just can't connect video properly.

Have you connected your grounds of the screen/system together? With RGB, have you connected 5V to pin 12?

What would be really helpful is a wiring diagram of your current setup, no wires excluded.

If you're not getting green bars (I thought you were) try plugging in the ribbon cable on the back all the way! It should slide in with sufficient force, or you can open the clip, put it in, and close the clip. Your choice. Alternatively, you could have broken the LCD/Ribbon cable. Check for any minor crack in both.

Bmire: YOUR problem is you're not connecting video correctly. I think.

You stil don't tell if it's plugged in all the way.
