i was reading on a forum somewhere how to put led lights in your clear gc controller to make them glow...does anyone know how to do that?

open up the controllers and solder in some leds

probably the pin for pin on the controller cable/controller board.....it's most likely 5v, so you'll have to get a resistor so that you don't screw up your leds...

my friend got one of those for his gc and it said you shouldnt connect more than one because it could like blow a fuse in the gc so be carefull

yeah, if you draw too much power then the fuse will blow, although you could probably replace the fuse in the GC with a higher rated one(just make sure it's only high enough to accomodate for the leds, though)....

this is going to be so sweet! i may put some in my pc and get some see through panels...i wont need to worry about the fuse with the neon wire, will i?

neon wire wont work it uses a transformer.

the ones he's talking about run on (from what I can tell) 3V or 6V

yea, i was going to attach the wire to the power source in the controller...but now it says the wire needs a drvier, so i checked that out, and as far as i can tell, its just a battery pack...so i sent them an email to see if i need this battery pack to run it, and im hoping my stupidness in overlooking the driver doesnt mean i have to pay more just to use the stinking wire

crap...and to be honest, i have no clue what a transformer is...will it fit inside a gamecube controller? aw crap, im so good at wasting my money

uh no they are big and heavy well this one was the one for your neons might be smaller but it turns like 12v into 700v to power the neons it would surely overload your gc so you would need an external power supply

heck no lol the drivers on this site are about as big as a AA, and powers about 1-5 ft..are there any transformers for a small amount of wire like that, that you know of?
