Paypal Money Clearance

Okay, I use paypal, and it comes from my bank account. (Not credit card).

When ever I buy something from ebay (it may happen with other sites, I dunno yet. Maybe My money takes like 9 days to clear.

Why does it have to clear?

Are you using eChecks? If not, it's probably because you don't have a credit card on file with them as a 'second fund source', so they have to wait to make sure they get their money before sending it off.

I dont know what Im using. It comes from my chequing account, or savings. (Dunno, as its my stepdads account)

If it's just coming out of your bank account and you don't have a credit card on file, yes it takes 3-4 business days to clear.

Why? I dunno.

Nope, I have a credit card as a secoundary and it still takes 7 days to clear.

Yeah, it takes quite a long time to process everything. That's the reason why I can't pay you back as early as I'd like.

it takes much longer if one of you is not.

yup im a verified PP member and it takes a good week or so for my purchases to clear even though i have a cc on file as my secondary. Its because it takes a few days for the banks and pp to make sure that the money is there and verified.
