Need Mobo w/ SIMM 72 pin RAM support

Post by A_Username »

I need to buy a motherboard that supports this RAM type, now don't ask me what type it is, I've never seen it before, but I got all the sticks for $0.99. Would anyone have a motherboard that supports this type of RAM.

EDIT: Thanks to vskid, I now know what type of RAM this.

Hope you guys can help me on this one,

Got a pin count? Looks like ddr, but using larger/fewer ram chips, but just a quick glance

I think it has 72 pins because it says "1" where the pins start and "72" where they end, I keep losing track of them whenever I try to count, I've even tried using a magnifying glass.

on the label taped over the RAM chip says:

Code: Select all

      ASSSEMBLY 60802327 8MB 2X32 70NS
MGV
      K97-0153 WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED
Does that help with what type it is?

It just so happens that I have one here.
Probably not what you were expecting though.

I have a Pentium 100mhz that uses this. I'll throw in a video card if you want, make sure you find an AT power supply.
