HD Problem

I have an extra 200GB hard drive on my computer for backups, movies, isos and such. A few days ago I went through all of the folders and re-organized them to make it easier to find any of the files. Now when I try to open some folders, this message pops up:

This window shows up when I try to open up all but 4 of the folders. Also, when I hover the cursor over any of the un-opening folders, it says that it is an empty folder.

I did a virus scan with AVG to see if that was the problem. It said I don't have a virus. I checked the disk for errors by right-clicking on the drive then went to tools, check for errors.

Any ideas on what I should try?

Mine does that when I click the cd drive, I dunno why.

Boot in safe mode, and log on as the administrator. Right click the folder that has denied access, and go to the security tab that appears. Set the permissions as Full Access for whatever user you want to have access.
