spliting gc controllers for gcp quick request

hey just curious if anyone who has split a gc controller for there gcp could help me out and just make a diagram of some sort of how wired the two controller pieces, i apologize if this questions been asked before but i could find such info when i tried searching for it, I've been told its not that hard and i have gotten parts of the controller functioning through what people have said about it but it would just make it a lot easier to get the hole controller done if someone would show me exactly how they did it. thanks in advance
