Xbox 360 Controller Mod Question

Hi folks. I just registered and don't know a thing about any of this so please forgive my ignorance.

I was wondering if it's possible to install two switches corresponding to the right and left trigger on an Xbox 360 controller that, when switched on, would repeatedly and continuously send the shoot signal when held down. For example, let's take someone who has an automatic gun of some sort, say an SMG. This gun normally is fully automatic, so all one has to do is hold down the trigger to fire a stream of bullets. When used in this fashion, the reticle jiggles far too much to be accurate. However, if one were to pump the trigger one could achieve much more accuracy but lessen the amount of shots and possibly game functionality since one would have more trouble moving accurately. If a switch could be implemented to repeatedly and continuously send the shoot signal then one could simply hold down the trigger and get the accuracy of pumping with the power of a fully automatic weapon.
Is this possible and, if so, is it feasible? Thanks a bunch.

A turbo controller is a third-party controller that will allow you to set it up so that it'll go rapid fire on a given button as you hold it down. Useful in games where you have unlimited ammo, but need to push the button for every shot. (If you get one though, be sure to try it out first, as many third-party controllers are absolutely terrible.)

Meh, I find MadCatz to be sort of a "hit or miss" type of thing; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But hey, their stuff is cheap!

As for the original question, a turbo controller sounds exactly like what you need. The only one out is the official Hori turbo controller, and as seen in that ebay link, will run you close to $30. Hope you can manage to grab one, and good luck!

Agreed, the first 3rd-party controller I ever bought was a MadCatz N64 one, and it was absolutely terrible. So, stay away from those. Logitech has really good controllers, but I'm not sure if they have any with turbo.

As far as I can tell the turbo function on the Hori controller is only for A, B, X, and Y. Is that correct?
The Mad Catz Gamepad Pro seems to be getting very high reviews. TeamXbox have it a 9.2 out of 10. Does anyone have any bad experiences with this controller? I really like how they made the triggers on this controller, that's my main attraction to it. What do you guys think the best Xbox 360 controller is?

Also, I was thinking about a switch that would continuously click the left analog stick button. For example, in Halo it would allow one to keep crouching really fast which would make the player harder to hit.
Alas, I don't know a thing about this stuff so I can't make it. Does anyone know anybody who will make mods on commission (and is competent)?

Huh my madcatz controllers work great. I guess its different for everybody.

I personally own at least 5 madcats products. they are quite amazing. they have come a long way in aftermarket stuff. as a matter of fact i just bought a gamecube wireless madcats for 25 bucks and it is just as good as the original.
