How much would it cost?

To set up a server for say an old Dreamcast game? Like NFL 2k1? Or (the recently terminated) Phantasy Star Online? I think it would be cool to make my own company to do that. And dont worry aboout money, I got mucho of it . My parents dont think it would be a good idea to use it on portables because they think I wont stick to it and just lose parts and/or break them. My dad would also help me with this because me and him are big Sega fans and we use to always play Bomberman Online. So how much and what would I have to do, to do this? Thanks in advanced!
