I have accumulated (sp?) 10, yes 10 Xbox's from friends and eBay in the last month and have gotten back into modding. I can make them to order or buy a premod.

I have 4 Pre-mods right now, want to get $200 including US Priority shipping.

You find a better deal for a modded xbox, an unmodded would run you $100 plus shipping. Add in a HDD ($50-$100), Modchip ($20-$60), and Labor and it seems reasonable then.

no seriosuly an xbox costs like 50 bucks now or at least thas how much mine cost, your chip is maybe 20 bucks and the harddrive im guessing maybe 30 or 40 so were up to 100 bucks then maybe throw in 25 so you can pretend you modded them with intent of selling and then whatever shipping is

Well, if the majority of the consumer base finds the price ridiculous, then they have the right to complain! :P

I, for one, tend to agree that $200 is WAY too much for a modded Xbox. $50 for the Xbox, a modchip and softmods can go as cheap as $10, and an HDD + Labor, I'd say $60. So that's just over $100, definitely not worth $200.

Well since this thread hsa been totally crapped on anyway , let's look at it reasonably.

After an Ebay search of completed items on Ebay, a used Xbox is going to cost about $80 shipped.

At divineo.com a Spider chip is $27 shipped.

At newegg.com an 80gb harddrive is $48 shipped.

Total cost = $155

Now what is his time worth ?

EVERYONE here that posted that it wasn't worth $200 has made a portable and I'm sure WOULD NOT sell it for the amount of money they had in parts only. :roll:

So like I said. Leave the guy alone and stop crapping on his thread.

How would you guys like it if we all start crapping on your For Sale threads?

If something is to expensive, guess what ? Nobody will buy it and the price will come down.

I do think it's called "thread crapping" just for that reason. :D

It's no big deal, it's just that whole "do unto others" thing. And it's really not tolerated on most sites. I guess the mods are more lax here. :wink:
