pulling a mobo out

I'm pulling my computers mobo out to put in a bigger case, but I encountered some problems when removing it. Some of the screws, actually all but 2 of them, were screwed in so tight that they were coming out with the mobo standoffs (if this has happened to you, you know how much it sucks). I got all of them loose but one, and I can't seem to get it out! What should I do?

open up the other side of the case and hold the standoff with a pair of pliers.
