That being said, Yes I was born in Russia, lived there for quiet some years. Now living in Canada. I showed this to my Russian friends, and they found this funny. Being in a Final Fantasy game and everything.

Now to the point of the thread.
I think Squaresoft were communist at the time when they made, FinalFantasy 8. As during the intro scene, with Squall fighting Seifer you see some good evidence that Squaresoft, was infact thinking about USSR.
To get more down to the bones of the evidence. When Squall gets hit in the face by Seifer's Hyperion Gunblade, his blood splatters on the ground. Look closely, Squall's blood when hitting the ground makes the Russian/USSR (CCCP) Communist Hammer and Sickle.
