What is the past tense of Smite? Smitten, Smote, or Smited?
I hear Smited, I want Smitten (even though that's some love term), and Smote is just cool.
What is it, and what would you call it?
Here's a sentence:
God Smites your pathetic existence. You have been {Smote} by the wrath of God.

Smote/Smitten. Smit isn't even close to a word, ghosstt.
EDIT: Turns out smit is imperfect for smite... I wouldn't use it as I would smote though.

Correct. I know that its smote because yesterday I had to hand in an essay and my english teacher promised extra credit for those who incorporated it into their essay.

I'm glad it's "Smote", as that's by far the coolest of the three
