laptop question

ok I have a laptop (IBM thinkpad 600e) with win98SE on it. It works and all, but I cant get games on it. its doesnt have a network card, or wireless, ut I basically just want to get starcraft, possibly UT, and all the old FPS's. I could upload the games and than download them, but that wouldnt work because the ethernet cord doesnt fit my laptop, and I could use a flash drive, but I only have a really old one with 32 megs. I put wolf3d on it

. I dont have a disk drive. any way how can I get some games on it without having to buy something?

PS-another noob question, how do I find out specs?

no cd drive, and I dont feel like buying one.

You could use an archiving program to compress and split ISOs of games into 32MB chunks, and then copy over the bits piece by piece, and decompress them on the laptop. Then, use a program to mount the ISO image as a drive, and run the game.

Use file splitting software and load them onto floppies maybe? (I have no idea how well this will work (if at all) since I have never actually had to try it)

EDIT: Duh, brainfart, just pop the Harddisk out and connect it to your computer (just don't format it)! You might need a connector-adapter (very cheap) though.

Get a bigger flash drive. Seriously. At Radio Shack they are $20 for 1 gig. Online they are even cheaper. It will be well worth it later on anyways.

or just buy a laptop cd rom drive to fit your thinkpad, seriously they cost like 20$ with shipping, mebe less

You could also get a cheap USB to IDE adapter and hook up a full desktop-size disc drive. At least you can use it on other computers too. (You might have to copy over some drivers.)

You could also copy files over a null modem cable, but this is painfully slow. (I recommend only doing this for drivers.)
