Boot ups being not fun, wanna help

Well, I used to run a XP and Ubuntu dual boot. But after thinking XP was to slow and not wanting Ubuntu, I just decided to do a reinstall and put XP tiny on it. But now when I boot It stays at my dell bios boot screen for like 40 seconds and then asks me what I wanna boot from, like HD, CD etc. But I would just like it to boot right up to XP tiny. Any ideas ?

sounds like your Boot.ini got screwed up.

Well how would I change that ?

If you're just going to format the PC anyways don't worry about it.

If you want to change it:

1. Right-click My Computer, select Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab, then the Startup and Recovery Settings button
3. Use the drop-down menu to select your tiny XP's partition as the default
4. Either change "Time to display list of operating systems" to a low number (2 or 1), or uncheck the box next to it.

If it's sitting at the Dell logo (BIOS/POST/Whatever) for that long, your computer might have bad memory.

Mine stalled like that once..turned out it was a dead hard drive

I already did what you said, it made no difference. I j8ust upgraded another half of gig of ram and a 80 gig HD into my computer at the beginning of the school year so I cant imagine its that.
