LED modding

Post by Gamerdude »

I know to run a few LEDs all you need to do is use an appropriate resistor to lower the voltage and amprage to what you need (use Ohm's Law). I have however seen circuits with a resistor every 2 or 3 LEDs though. DO these make compleatly seperate circuits running off of the direct power source or are these in-line with the other LEDs. Also, I thought maybe they just spred out the resistance, such as using 2 10 Ohm resistor spaced apart rather than 1 20 Ohm resistor. I don't know and I need help.

Uh, simply buy a resistor form each LED, it´s going to cost you 60 cent each...

That is common sense, the whole point of this question is so I don't have to do that.
