Yes u can but not much the silver around the board(with the PAL dont no bout the NSTC) and u can round off the corners which can help a lot. But yes you can do it ill post pics if you request it. Cheers^_^
Well you can round the entire board down, all the way around to where there is just a sliver left of copper. If there is just a bit, it will still work fine.
Just as the others said, cut down the grounding strip and round out the corners; it's about all you can do. If you need a visual, here's a great example of what we're talking about.
