Damn GAME

Post by dudex77 »

well my xbox live subscription ends tommorrow sunday the 25th so i was going into game shops looking for an xbox live starter kit and saw an xbox live kit to give me 12 months more and it came with project gotham racing 2 and a communicator set as well as fusion frenzy in GAME. i picked it up and it was an empty box so i brought it to the counter to buy it and they took out a plastic bag with *all* its contents and stuck them in the box. my first thought was hey thats weird but then i just figured well its spain i mean the country has to take a nap from 2 to 5. so i payed the 10 euros for it and when i opened it up like 10 minutes ago couldnt find any subscription code in it or anything i read the instruction manual for some insight and it say the code would be on the inside of the xbox live discs sleve. well their isnt any xbox live startup disc so now im pissed because ill have to restart my xbox live account from scratch and ill no longer have my stats in halo or anything (im not that good but it took awhile to get up to level 20) does anyone else have any complaints about GAME they would like to express or would this topic more appropriately be titled "Damn Spain"?

Yup, I hate GAME, because they overcharge for so many things. Excite Truck is £39.95 in GAME, and £19.95 in Gamestation. Gamestation is easily my favourite store, as they sell loads of retro games and consoles as well. Although I did see a PSOne in GAME for £10 once. Do you have Gamestation in Spain?

not that i know there are a bunch of game stores here which are pretty much GAME replicas. i figure the best way to buy games is just through the internet

heh, if your only game shop options are GAME and GAME clones, then you'll have to buy over the internet :P

why don't you just go back and complain? They sold you a bad product, and you deserve a new one.
