Works fine for me. Do you have any hacker "friends" (or perhaps not)?

Are you using windows xp? If so then this happens to me all the time. What you have to do is exit out of both aim and msn's Icons right next to your clock on your start bar (task bar or what ever its called) then just re-open them from your desktop or where every your main icon is. That should help. If not try rebooting.

If it keeps happening, download MSN 7.5.

Sometimes a firewall setting on some end of down the line gets tweaked or some Windows patch goes through and MSN 7.5 is a pro at cuttin' through that stuff. Also sometimes just rebooting will have it back up in no time. If that doesn't work, sometimes reinstalling it works.

I have no idea WHY, I just know we use 7.5 at work, and those three things, in that order keep us on MSN all day, yea work related.

Anyhew, that is tried and true, I only use msn 7.5 now, when I'm not using GAIM at home. Ok, hope that helps, it will fix probably about ... 75% of your connecting problems, har har.

I can one up you there... my dad made a new computer, and was getting the software stuff ready to go. I put my thumbdrive in for something, don't remember what. Later, my dad was trying to put his password in, but the form didn't do anything. He started going crazy, and even accused me of putting a virus on my computer with the thumbdrive () Turned out, he had a numeric password and the numlock button wasn't on. Not surprisingly, he was putting the password in AOL :P
