PSP license place case project

Post by myersn024 »

I got another PSP a few days ago and since it didn't come with a carrying case or protective sleeve I've decided to make a kickass case for it. I looked around my office at work all morning trying to find something to use, but couldn't come up with anything cool......that is until I spied the old license plates that came off my wife's car. I'm going to run by the hardware store this afternoon and get a few machine screws and bolts along with a pair of tin snips and a small hinge of some kind. I've got a crap load of foam at work that I can use for padding (it seems like I've been unpacking computers for a year). I'll post some pics of the progress a little later.

Nice. But what do you mean "another PSP"?!

I had one, then I bought "another" one. Now I have 2, both of which are now running firmware that can run homebrew programs. I'm going to make a dodgeball game that has support for two players using adhoc wireless. I need the other PSP to test my adhoc code.

Well, I just jumped into turning the license plates into a case and messed them up. But, I have some light ply and balsa left over from another project so I'm going to use that instead. I've taken some pictures and I'll put them up in a little while when I've gotten a little further into the project.
