Forum Suggestion

Suggestion to Ben: Rename the "Pocket TV Hacking" forum to "Screen Sources and Hacking", or add a forum for non-TV screens hackable to use in our homebuilt portables.

The key reason it was called "pocket tv" is that for from the time I got here (April 04) you had really only two choices in screens, PSOne or pokect tv. A forum to pocket tvs make sence as you have a great veriaty with them. Now that we have Hip Gear Screens and more people are looking for alturnitives its possible it could use a name change, but I guess I'm old fashioned as I dont try to make things conform to my wished I simply conform myself around what I want and am happy that way.

there is no sense fixing what isnt broken but then again this is a modding comunity and we tend to fix things that aren't broken

Well I just think there is a lot of talk in there about hacking of things other than TVs, so it isn't obvious to a newbie (which we're probably about to get flooded with) that that is the place to go to post about Hip Gear Screen Pads, PSone screens, etc.

I'll vouch for that.

Fortunately for me, I emersed myself in a study of Ben's work before joining this fine community. The name of the section did catch my eye at first as off balance, but I really didn't care that much.

But if were gonna make such a ruckus about it, I vote yay

Anyway, I thought it was a great name... I wasnt trying to such up or anything. Portable screen hacking is as generic of a name as posible, and thats good. Its clear and any noob would relize that thats where the screen posts are. Sorry if I seem like a suck up, but I didnt conciously try to, I just thought it was a good name.
