FS: SNESP

I spent way too much time on this to let it go, but I need money like no other right now.

The entire system is wired and works, albeit also looks butt ugly.

There are TWO problems:
1) It will NOT run on BATTERIES. Technically it will, but the colors are incorrect. They fade in, appear normally, and then move on to being either inverse or just plain wrong. The image also becomes fuzzy. This does NOT occur if you use the PS1 screen's AC adapter. I've wired the jack in at the top, and it works fine with that. Maybe someone can fix the problem? (Yes, adapter is included.)

2) One speaker is busted. I ripped the voice coil during a `tard moment. I think it's the left, though it doesn't matter - they're pretty much interchangeable.

Beyond those issues, the whole thing works fine. Note that if you want it for parts, it's held together with lots of hot glue, and might not enjoy letting go. Take it easy and you should be fine, though. I removed much hot glue many times, and it tends to come off in strips around the edges. Some of that, plus gentle prying, and it'll open. (The back plate comes off. The rest is one piece.)

All the components are there (save one speaker) if you want to give it a proper case.

$100 or BO, buyer ships. Paypal if you can, please - a check will do otherwise, but it'll have to clear first.

Ah, sad to see you sell it off, and hey! It's not ugly - especially for a beginner. I bet the problem with the batteries is either the amount of capacity (being small) or the batteries are otherwise damaged. What are the specs of them?

First I used alkalines - six. Then I was told they don't feed a constant voltage, so I went and bought an RC car pack. 1000 mAh, 9 volts. Still too much, and after a bit of thinking I realized the book was misleading - you use 7.5 volts to power the screen, and take power from that for the SNES. (I guess I misread/misunderstood.) I then tried using only five cells (7.5 volts), and the problem was still there. They're only 1000 mAh, so that could be it, but I have no idea. Regardless, it's up for sale.

As far as the battery issue goes, it might just be the kind of batteries I've tried using. None have been the ones mentioned in the book, so it could be entirely my fault. And now that I think of it, I may as well mention that the battery slots are NOT wired up, seeing as they didn't work for me.
