Wifi on Linux

I want to run linux on my main computer for a few weeks, to get the feel for it.... But I connect to the internet via wireless adapter, and not many distributions support Wifi connection. So my question is what would be the best distribution to try?

PS: I've tried Puppy Linux and because I dont have my driver CD, I cant get it to function properly

This is the ONLY reason why I dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows XP. I use wireless all the time, and Linux and wireless are like oil and water.

I've had better luck with wireless in linux than windows. Only problem is when I have to use ndiswrapper for wifi card drivers.

To get WiFi running on a computer that has a distribution of Linux installed you need what gannon mentioned, and the drivers for the device. What I would suggest if you are going to use Linux as a main OS on you computer is either us Google for a lot of research in finding what you need and how to implement it or do what I did, join linuxquestions.org.

Linuxquestions.org is far better for trouble-shooting this kind of thing, well we do have a few Linux gurus here the help you could get at LQ is far, far, better.
