What to do with a semibroken Wii-mote...

I have a Wiimote that's on the verge of dieing. The warranty ran up, so I can't return it. It's held together with duct tape because the battery cover broke on impact. (It... hit a wall) Sometimes it works fine, but other times it won't turn on.

What should I do with it? I could do some sort of crazy mod to it (MP3 player in a Wiimote!?

) but I have no skill what so ever. I can't even make a NOACp. Forget frying the mobo, I literally burnt it somehow!

Any suggestions for what I can do with it? I could sell it, but it probably wouldn't be worth much.

Some things I have thought up:
Belt buckle
mp3 player
gyro mouse (I do have one, I can just put it in the Wiimote case...)
Sell it

Durability tests.

Seriously, have you checked the battery contacts? You could try stretching one of the springs a little. Maybe a solder point for the contacts was damaged, have you tried re-soldering them?

It doesn't have springs, but I get what you're saying. And I don't have a triwing screwdriver or the skill to open it without one...

Durability tests could be fun though... But that's my last resort.

Sell it, if you can't fix it. If you can't see it, keep it for when someone wants a case for the Wiimote sometime. Or you could do something cool with it.

How much would you sell it for? I want a gyro mouse, I'd still need a Bluetooth adapter though.

hmmm, I don't know, this seems interesting, all you need is a small standard (or flat-head for you lamens

) screwdriver and a lot of downward force...preferably from one of those eye-glass repair kits or precision screwdriver sets

It's damaged. Notice how I called it "Semibroken" and said that it hit a wall.... And I can't get it out because of the screws.

Tri-wings? Small flathead screwdriver, put it in one wing, apply lots of pressure (I use at least 25% of my 120 ponds body weight), and turn. If you can't get it, you could send it to me and I'll remove the guts.

Yeah but i'm a big build in a way. Not truly big, but a bit bigger than a lot of people in my class. It owns sorta.
