Hey anyone know were I can find a free streaming video software download? I want to download from youtube etc. SOS.

if you use firefox, you can download the videos through a add-on for firefox

You can download videos from YouTube by copying the URL to KeepVid.

http://www.keepvid.com

You can then play the .flv videos with VLC, Media Player Classic, or even Windows Media Player (if you install something like FLV Splitter). Or, you can convert it to most any other format using MediaCoder.

As for other streaming media, you might need to get some specialty software, use a screen recorder like CamStudio (if your computer is fast), or use VLC to play the stream and transcode it, using the "dump raw input" setting.

I have the Firefox browser and I down loaded some video. I want to save it to CD-RW and use it own my laptop, which does'nt have have the internet. is there a way.
