PS3 controller in Mac OS X
So I've seen instructions and drivers and such about how to use a PS3 controller in Windows as shown here. But I haven't been able to find anything about using a PS3 controller in Mac OS X. I tried just plugging it up through USB, but it isn't recognized by any programs or anything. There are already drivers for Xbox 360 controllers and Wiimotes, but no luck on PS3... Any ideas?

See if it's recognized by USBOverdrive. It's shareware, so you can test to see if it works before buying.
If not, install the Developer Tools and look around with USB Prober to see if the computer is even recognizing the controller.

Yeah I tried that already..and got nothingDitto wrote:Try this before you do anything.
Apple -> About this Mac -> More Info -> USB.
Post back if you can see anything odd there. Even post a screenshot.
And totally off topic, but do you have a Cube, or do you just like the way it looks as your avatar?
Well my main computer is an upgraded Cube (woot!), and I was also wondering whether you're a member at the Cubeowner forums.Ditto wrote:Both. Why?
And more on the PS3 controller debacle, I haven't gained any ground, but I'm still working on it!
