Heat Sinks?

I'm going to use these heat sinks (Mouser Part #567-D10850-40)

How do I make them stick to the chips. Can you give me a mouser part number for the glue or whatever?

Most heat sinks have a screw hole in them. Just line that up with the hole on your regulator, and you're gold!

Note: Most accept size 4 screws, just to let you know.

I just used normal thermal grease on the chips and a bit of hot glue on some of the corners because as long as they don't slide off the chips, they aren't gonna fall off.

Are those for the N64 CPUs? If so, get some thermal grease from a computer shop (it's commonly used for attaching heatsinks to your computer's processor) and spread it on to the chip. Remember, less is more, just use a little and don't go all the way to the edge. Next, put a drop of super-glue on each corner of the chip and firmly press the heatsink on. Even though superglue dries quickly, you'll need to wait about 24 hours so that the heat from the chip doesn't affect the glue.

I haven't personally tried this on the N64 CPUs, but I have on the processor of a graphics card, and it worked very well. In my experience, you'll also be able to remove the heatsink without damaging the chip.
