Download VLC Media Player, QuickTime, or QuickTime Alternative and then you can play MP4 files!

Why don't you have those codecs already?

I do on my laptop, but I can't use it right now, and I can't install anything on my Dad's PC (which i'm currently on).

Download VLC Portable and your problems are solved!

(Get the zip version so you don't even have to run an "installer", which in this case is basically a self-extracting archive.)

I also would like to request an MP3 version. Not because I can't play the mp4 on my computer, but because I listen to podcasts on my mp3 player on the bus to work and back. And it's a crappy mp3 player. Might rip it myself. If I do, I'll host it on zshare or something for anyone else who wants it.
