PS3 IDE HDD cia CF

Would I be able to buy the converter that ben had for his Atari 800 laptop 1.0 and use it to use a IDE Hardrive on hte PS3's CF Slot? Power might be an issue, but I can solve that. Posssible or Not?

Why would you want to when you can either replace the internal one, or just use an external USB one?

Just for the hell of it, I don't own any CF cards bigger than 8MB anyway. Serial ATA hardrives are big $$$ and USB hardrives are even more $$$.
