Ben Heckendorn vs. Ben Folds

Post by Kyosho »

Edit: Thanks for fixing it Triton

Strange pair, eh? This isn't a "who'd win in a fight" poll, but more of a "which is more talented" poll.

On the one side you have Ben Folds, who is possibly the greatest piano-based musician of our generation. Then there's our Ben here who needs no introduction. Some would say Folds' music is lame, but some would also say Heckendorn's projects are nerdy or pointless.

I'm guessing some of you haven't heard of Ben Folds, but oh well.

P.S. Folds' cover of "B*tches Ain't Sh*t" (originally by Dr. Dre) is hilarious, and you should download it, with fair Mature Content warning...

Ben needs to cut a record, or Folds needs to make a portable. I'm personally hoping for the former.

Did anyone notice that Ben Franklin's name was spelled wrong?

Yeah, I saw that, too!

And of course Ben Heckendorn. Franklin may have discovered electricity, but I'd like to see him solder hundreds of surface-mount traces in a single day! :)

Well, if you're talking about AC, then that would be Nikola Tesla. Death Ray FTW! Oh ho ho!

Well I voted Franklin, because he did so much such as discover electricity, wrote Poor Richard's Almanac, started many volunteer organizations, ect. Without Franklin, Heckendorn's awesome portables would never exist.
Meh, I don't post much.
