Post by ValiantVenality »

Ya so I am buildint a portable radica system. I am actually almost done. i have the case the radica the screen. I need to cut the holes for the buttons on the case. I got everything wired except one thing... THE POWER TO THE SCREEN!!!!!! I am notn using the PSone screen I am using the inetec psone screen so its kind of different. Everything else is perfect though. So how would i get power to the screen? Its 7.5 volts. Please I need some help on this. The good this is if you tell me it'll be one more portable on this tremendous website. So got any ideas?

Okay you need at least 7V-30somethingV. look around on your screen for a regulator (always assuming you know what a regulator is) It should say 7805 on it. and it has 3 leads but I think only two are wired to the board. Also it's black and square, if that helps.

Pinout of the 7805 regulator IC.

1. Unregulated voltage in
2. Ground
3. Regulated voltage out

Put the Battery + to #1 and connect the Battery - to #2.

Hope that answers your question
