XPORT 360... RIPOFF???

hey i just picked up an xport 360, cost 40 bucks at circuit city.
so far ive done... nothing
it disconnects and reconnects without control
i havent been able to back up the hdd yet.... a little frustrated.
am i only able to play with gamesaves on this little bugger?
or can i move around media files. if anyone knows how to copy media from the hdd to my pc to view or vice versa please leave a message:
