32x Region MOD...?

Does anyone know if it was possible to Region MOD a 32x console?

If so, is there a URL that the info can be found at?

Just wondering...

Do you mean the 32x console Project Neptune? (the prototype Genesis with 32x built-in) or just a 32x adapter? If you mean the adapter, the info is available at http://www.segakore.net/articles/switch_32x.php

32x Doesnt need region modding. The games test the region the same way Genesis games do. Just do the normal JP-US and UK-US jumper switches on ur genesis to play 32x (and genesis) imports.

I'm the author of the MOD upper (sorry, it's French only).

To answer segasonicfan :
Yes, games check Mega Drive/Genesis for the country protection, but if you switch your Genesis in view of playing import, (ex : european games on a NTSC Mega Drive/32X set), you'll get a black screen because of video standard optimisation from your 32X.
The 32X is optimized to work with NTSC or PAL video depending the country, so when you switch your Genesis into Mega Drive (PAL), your Genesis 32X (which is working in NTSC) will lost synchronization and you will not be able to play...

That's why, to play all 32X games in world, you have to switch you Mega Drive/Genesis AND your 32X

Anyway, all european games where also released in North America, so I think it's not necassary to switch your 32X... For japanese games, only Genesis switch is necessary.
