Does anyone know if you can create a better wii sensor bar?

Includes PS2, Xbox 1, GameCube (but not the Phantom Game Console)

Does anyone know if you can create a better wii sensor bar?

Post by *o* »

I have a 250cm front projection TV and infront of that (about 1m) is a cabinet and on that is my sensor bar.

This causes some issues:

1) i end up pointing the cursor lower that the screen which is uncomfortable.

2) the movement is slightly erratic

3) when i play wii play fishing i get a "if you are having trouble with the pointer move closer to the sensor bar" message.

I think these stem from the sensor bar being too low, it is also off center. And the fact it is far forward. or too far from where is sit/stand.

So this brings me to my question, can i build a better sensor bar? one that combats these issues?

I think your sensor bar is too far away from your tv. And I doubt you really need 'a better' sensor bar. The sensor bar is already better then it needs to be (as proven on IGN) so yeah.

Try going into the setup on the wii, and increasing the sensor bar sensitivity setting.

Damn you! Getting Wii Play and I can't... Also, sensor bar enhancement= try 100 IRLED's if you really care so much.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.
