Intec 5.6 XBox Screen - your thoughts?

Hello and thanks.

I can get a new Intec Xbox 5.6" console-top-screen for less than $50.00, want to use it for a SuperJoy or Yobo portable. I know the PS screen is the popular one around here, but someone probably knows the Xbox screen pretty well.

What are your feelings or experiences?

Good screen? Bad? Anyone's opinions are appreciated.

its pretty similar to mine i bet...Its fairly easy to mod. But the lcd itself is about an inch thick. If that bothers you then dont get it, but if it doesnt go for it. thats an awsome price for it..I got an intec ps2 screen for 40 bucks and it was pretty easy to hack up.

I hear it has the same guts as the GameCube Intec LCD. If that is indeed true, GET IT AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN. The gameCube screen was the worst screen I have seen in my life. Even the LCD's on those cruddy VideoNow things are better quality than these, at least they have half their pixels alive and don't die after only a week of use.

It may be something entirely different though.
