Oh man, I love and hate Contra! It's so fun and yet so hard. Thats the only one I've played so far. That one for genesis sounds cool, mebbe I'll buy it, should be cheap right?

I voted Gunstar Heroes because I think it deserves more love. Metal Slug is really great, and Contra is undeniably a classic, but Gunstar Heroes was one of those games that redefined the genre. Gunners' Heaven on PlayStation (Japan, also Rapid Reload in Europe) was Sony's ripoff of Gunstar Heroes. I swore it was a sequel when I saw it even. To have companies as big as SCEI blatantly rip it off, it has to be good

I voted gunstar heroes too, metal slug is good but kinda buggy in places, contra is brillant, but too hard... when games are really challenging, they are too hard, gunstar heroes is very good... and there was never a sequel Still, how would it be as good as the original?

I have never played Metal Slug ( ), but I have played contra...infact, I played super contra for my nes last night. I also remembered how much I hate that game for making you die in one hit

Baam tied it up with one more for Metal Slug. They are all great games though. Contra is the most nostalgic for me but I was only into the original game while with Metal Slug I've played and beat them all.

I hate to do it contra, sniff, sniff, but metal slug is better. I like metal slug 3 the most though.
