PS1 "Gamevue" Screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PS1 "Gamevue" Screen

Post by johnbjuice »

I have a Gamevue PS1 screen that I aquired (my friend gave it to me because the ps1 it was attached to was broken) and I was hoping to start making a portable SNES w/ it. Is the screen similar enough to the PSOne brand screen to use? I'll try to get a picture, but I'd like at least a maybe before I open this thing up...

thx!

It can take the PS outputs so therefor it can. You will ofcorse have to find which wire is which, but thats simple. (Just look at the A/V pinout.)

As long as you have a basic understanding on how portablize*, then you should beable to make it work

*If you do not, then you probabily will fry the system. But seeing as you are here, so should have enough to pull it off :)
