The only system you'll ever need
I have an Idea for a home or even portable platform that is like an emulator, but doesn't download anything. It would have a disk drive and a cartridge slot that can be adjusted in size and shape of different cartridges using servo motors. It would have multiple versions of CPU with different bits (8, 16, 32, 64, 128, ect.) and it would switch CPU depending on game. It would play all well known games today and yesterday. What do you think?

SAY ALLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!i finally used google!!I would suggest that you just make a Dreamcast or an Xbox portable. Both have dozons of emulators that work and with the Xbox you can save a lot of the games and emuators to the hard drive.
Only other option would be to run out and buy a powerful laptop. There is a thread in the 128bit forum that talks about emulating that, I'd expect Xbox games to not be fair from it as ofcourse that system is x86 based. So you can get at least on 128bit system running on it and everything else below from what I've heard is running at full speed and sound.
