how to split a snes controller and rewire

I am confused, how do you get it to split exactly on the line(I have no idea how my dremel could do it , to many head thingies

what? where do you want to split it? your going to have to extend the traces, its not too hard but it takes a little while

just scrape off the traces with sand paper then solder wires from broken trace to broken trace. i'll do it for money if you dont want to

Just score out the pads with an X-Acto knife, and very carefully snap them off. Then sand down the traces until you reach bare metal, and resolder them to their corresponding leads on the split section with the IC.

sorry i have been gone so long, but i have completed that part, it took 3 controllers too. i cant test it out on my snes because it isn't turning on, but i must say, hot glue was my best friend on that...
