Liquid Nitrogen Or Worse
Well, I have been needing a cooling system for hard-core overclocking project... So i was throwing around a few ideas the other day, liquid nitrogen and submurging it in a non-reactive liquid stuck out the most. How expensive is liquid nitrogen? Would I be better off submurging it in a non-reactive liquid? I need some KRRAAZZZZYYYY cooling ideas, dang near any suggestion welcome 
Well you could try liquid Nitrogen I'm not sure that it would work all that great. Reason being that the temperature that the Nitrogen is at could the system slower then faster. Remembe that electrons speed through a material is slowed when it's cooled, and -100C is very cold.
An alternative I could suggest is alcohol or ammonia. Both have a boiling temperature below freezing, but more importently is that these two are used in air condisioning systems which we all know keeps things cold. To make sure the system works effeciant as possible have a nice big radiator.

Using liquid nitrogen to cool a computer wouldn't be very effective. After it evaporates, you have to buy more liquid nitrogen.
If you really want to be crazy, you could adapt a small refrigerator (NOT a mini-fridge, it has to have a real compressor, not just a peltier cooler) to cool the processor. I do not recommend this unless you are familiar with working with that kind of stuff, but you could get some very good cooling this way. If it's not critical that this system be elegant, you could combine it with a water cooling system by attaching the radiator to the coils inside the fridge.
One step lower would be to cannibalize a mini-fridge for its peltier cooler. First, make sure you have the cold side against the processor, then stick the biggest heatsink you can on the other side. What this device does is transfer heat from one side to the other when electric current is passed through it. This will cool down the processor, but the heatsink will become very warm as a result. Just…don't connect it up backwards…

Also liquid nitrogen as a cooler would be bad since it compromises the intregritiy of the metals in the board...Unless you can compensate with some SERIOUS Heat...

why do I suddenly get the feeling that by 'extreme cooling' you're hoping to offset an experiment that's horribly wrong to start with...
don't forget that just overclocking/cooling the processor has a limit, and that limit is that not everything around the processor can go much faster when overclocked. stability isn't going to be there if you're planning on something *really* crazy.
I can see the headlines in the paper. 'person submurges morbidly overclocked system in bath of alcohol and kills 20'
forchrissakes, black friday is right around the corner, and your time would be better spent standing in line for one of those $100 computers to the first 25 people.

Any feasible cooling system must involve a cycle of some kind. Liquid Nitrogen and Dry Ice are not suitable because these substances will evaporate in a matter of days.
Currently the most powerful kind of computer cooling is a phase-change system, which is essentially the mechanism from a standard fridge.

Somehow I doubt you will need such an extreme solution. Installing a radically large heatsink and fan would cost very little and keep a heavily overclocked processor cool. Phase-change is jut overkill.

Well, after reading this I have decided that a phase changing system may be they way to go. Hopefully I'll mange to find a refrigerator 
yo, dude, to make a proper phase change system you need some serious skillz, including brazing and proper handling of dangerous coolants! you need a lisence to buy any real coolants..

perhaps an easier solution is to make a watercooling system with the radiator inside your still-intact fridge. throw in a peltier for extra kicks (and sub-ambient temps!)
