The status? The status is DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though Jones you will be interested to know I am hanging up bluescreen in my basement... I also have another movie idea I should tell you about this weekend, one that could be quite easy to film. (only 2 people in it for 90%)

Sounds like a good time. What is it... "Smokin in the Boys' Room" or "Driving Miss Daisy 2"? 8)

You know you want to make "Port Washington 2: Sheboygan, the Revenge of Gus". You can't deny it!!!

"Well, I never did drive that Chrysler again, but I soon got to using a hearse later on...steering was wonderful, yes'm." Sure, I'm awful, but where else could that story go? She was 97 by the end! Goodness, I only want to go to 80 sonmthing...

As for a PW2, I hate to speak for anyone, but PW seemed to be a finster to do, and unless you guys got major funding/aid, this blue screen thing might be a hoot. Although I'd like to see Ben do some more writing. Books, essays, articles, etc. I still enjoy (and get floored by) his "future" articles...

I guess this'll be the appropriate thread to mention this problem I have with trying ot watch "Adventure":

I downloaded the MP4, but when I open it I get the message:
Error -2048: the file is not a movie file
I tried watching other MP4s and MOVs and they run fine, so it must be the file, not the player.

And no, I can't download the other format. It's too big for my computer to play any faster than .5 FPS.

Try VLC. It's generally much less picky than anything else.

Originally Ben and Mike were going to get girls of their own at the end of PW during a Steve and Erica wedding sequence. This got axed though, because every romantic comedy ends with a wedding... or an airport scene it seems.

Believe it or not we did come up with a plot for the sequel. It was still going to center on Steve and Erica with Ben and Mike saving the day again. This time the stakes would have been higher though.

Unfortunately it will never be made, since it would have been 10 times harder to make than Port Washington and more expensive.

Now, stay tuned for "Basement: The Movie". :)
