2nd time wiring the cart slot...doesnt work

I cant figure it out, this is my second time wiring the cart. slot, i soldered the wires to the pins on the cart. slot, then melted the solder on the board and poked the wires through the corresponding holes.

i keep getting that "flicker' when i turn it on, but no signal

what could it be?

the other side of this is just a cart. slot with wires soldered to it.

Yea, this sounds like a lot of contacts may be touching...take a pic of it...one from far, one close up.

One farther out showing both would be nice. From the looks of it so far, I'd say it might be backwards.

this good? the cart slot's back is facing the picture, so if there was a game in there, you would see the back of the game

ya, i used hot glue so none of them would come unsoldered, but i'm positive that its not the cart. slot. If theres something wrong though, you should be able to tell from the wires or the motherboard holes.

other than that, i'm stumped

You could have soldered a wire to the wrong place.

if any of you have successfully relocated the cart. slot, it would be cool if you could post or email (at sakear@ctc.net) me with precise steps and pictures or something, because i'm appearently doing something wrong

you soldered the wires onto the wrong side. gannon is right you did it backwards.
