buying a sports bike

hey everyone, i turn 16 and get my driver's permit next august and was thinking of buying a motorcycle. The only problem is that insurance is expensive. I've found a few bikes that will only cost $450 of insurance a month through progressive. Does anyone know of a cheap way to goto motorcycle insurance. By the way I live in NYC

. I think the best insurance there is for a motor bike would be TSC Direct, I think that was the name. On our ATV, we pay approximately 150 a month. Well, props!
