question about DS wifi

I just got a wireless router today, And I am trying to install (?) wifi on the DS lite. it has been "testing connections" for like 2 hours now, how long should it take? and do I have to do this with every game?

Euhm..... sure it's 2 hours? Seems a little much don't you think. I thought it should stop automaticly in at most 6 min. 2. Well the wirreless data is stored on the ds I believe. (not sure)

ok I just took it out, and tried it on my regular DS (I was using DS lite) and its done already. weird, huh?

EDIT: wow, now its working on this DS lite to!! and it took under a minute!
