No, the NOAC has no cartridge slot. You have to attach one to it. The Super Joy does have a Famicom slot though
And MOST are not shaped like N64 controllers, just the Super Joy line and a few others. They have them in a ton of shapes, one for basically every system that has come out since (except ones like the Lynx, Game Gear, Jaguar, 3D0, and Nomad) I want the PSone shaped one, myself.
There are many different NOACs, of varying quality, as peppers said. Most are little blobs on circuit boards though nowadays. They're really fantastic little beasts, considering. Nintendo should really have come out with their own and been done with it.

many, including many super joys, do have a famicom 60 pin cart slot. buy an adapter from gannon.tk to play your NES games!SgtBowhack wrote:No, the NOAC has no cartridge slot. You have to attach one to it. The Super Joy does have a Famicom slot though

that was implyed sence it would be hard to get the chip by itsself not already embedded inside some sort of devise and most devises that have one have the slot and the ezest to find at least in america are shaped like n64 controllers "HK-47" told him what it was if you want one you look for something like I discribed I dont know why an argument has to be started over a technicality although this is the internet so I should expect it

peppers: The thing is, he didn't ask how to get one- he wanted to know what it was. And yes, HK-47 answered properly but then you confused the issue, so I was merely backing him up. Wasn't trying to start a fight, just trying to help stop false information from spreading. I'm sure through all the info on this thread, Jeff is now well-learned in the topic though
