Getting a save onto a xbox

Post by Joes2Silly »

Well, im back to the drawing board with fixing my xbox (it has a dashbaord problem) and I was wondering if I could somehow get a game save off a memory card and onto my xbox without going through the dashboard? If taht wont work, is there any ohter way to reinstall my dashboard :?:

If you get UnleashX or XBMC working, you could copy it to a memory card.

Do you still have the soft mod on?

Well it sounds like it's screwed up so much that you need a modchip, so I suggest you get this one.

Unless you don't want to fix it, I might buy/trade for it.

The HDD is locked, so you can't really do that.

And there's no other way of unlocking it, unless you are lucky and it's a rubber jacketted Seagate, which is easiest to unlock.

So yeah you're pretty much hopeless.

There are two types of Seagates.

That's the rubber jacketted one, which can be unlocked using your computer.

This one needs a serial programmer to unlock it.

I just unlocked my slim Seagate with UnleashX because I have a modchip.

That's the only way to fix it now, ya know?

You still need to lock it.

I'm serious, the only way to fix it now is to get a modchip.

Sounds like you didn't do a good enough job soldering, or flashed the wrong size BIOS.

For the DuoX2 GS I suggest Xecuter 2 4981.
