AtariP (Six switch)

Post by madc0w »

I am planning to make a six switch atari portable. I know it is a larger board, but it seems possible. I have a few questions though:
How would I remove the switch board? Anyone know the pinouts to the ribbon?
What does Ben use for his paddle knobs?
Hopefully I can make this thing well. I still need to get the mobo apart. :(
Edit: Nevermind, turns out its a different site, not pactec. I found the case I want.

Ok, update. I've got a case, its a removable harddrive case from an old PC. Fits the atari board PERFECTLY. The size is really nice. The screen will probably be a PSone screen, since the mock up I did with my sorta broken one looks really nice. Next friday, I'm planning to start working on all the electronics, like composite mod and replacing the switch board. I hope I can impress some of my teachers with this (one of them had to have played atari as a kid!)
