I'm trying to follow the directions in the following post:

However my power regulator board doesn't seem to match up with Gamelvers diagram.

here is a picture of mine.

His seems to go 1-11 on top & 12 - 22 on the bottom row, while mine seems to go 1 on top, 2 on bottom, 3 on top, 4 on bottom? Am I reading this wrong? Help

Turbo,

I think that this diagram should help, but I do have more questions.

Are the grey numbers for use only in the above diagram, while the red ones are what is actually on the board?

I thought that this was possible with only 5 wires? What is going on on the spots where the red line seems to go through multilpe holes? Does that mean that on the top 17,18 and 19 should be connected to 17,18,19,20 and 6 & 7 on the bottom? Thanks.

the grey numbers are only in the diagram. to make it a little easier i think

and just bridge those holes with solder

that are connected by the red lines in the diagram

Uh, small problem.

In the diagram by hatrix, there appears to be 12 holes across, however on my regulator (real life) there is only 11?? Help.

(If someone could also point out ground on this that would be super-cool)

Hi guys, here is the update. I got the power regulator board hooked up to the motherboard & that seems to be working (my fan is getting power & the led is on).

However, now the optical drive is no longer spinning? Help.

No,

I removed the lid sensor switch & twisted the wires together instead.

are you sure the 2 wires are still twisted together and still plugged into the disc reader, and does the disc just not spin, or does a red screen come up when you start?

Yeah, I'm sure about the disc not spinning. I'm also not getting the red light from the disc. The wires are still swisted. I actually soldered them them together & covered them with electrical tape.

Everything was working fine until I wired up the power regulator board....

No I'm not even hooked up to a screen at the moment.
