I am having some trouble with my cartridge connector on my nes. I am making the cnc built portable in Bens book. So far I have cut out the plastic in order for the cartridge to fit in the connector. I put the cartridge connector on the nes motherboard and it just wont work. To me it looks as if the cartridge connector only has one row of pins (36 pins not 72) that are connected to the motherboard. So it goes 36 pins 36 pins (where the cartridge goes) and then just 36 pins to connect to the motherboard. I am almost certain this is the problem but I do not know what to do. Oh and by the way the connector worked fine before.

Edit: Figured it out. I just needed to cut more plastic away.
